The FOD Barrier™  significantly decreases the number of foreign objects that enter the runway. The blocking mechanism is placed onto the runway shoulders creating a barrier between the paved track and the unpaved areas of the runway.

After years of development, this product then went through a process of rigorous testing across three Air Bases for 3 years. The Air Force ran multiple in-house tests to give certification for installation across runways and taxiways. They tested everything from collapsibility, drainage, and jet-blast resistance to the life span of the materials. Both commercial and combat aircraft were serviced along with helicopters ultimately creating a solution that is effective and seamless with all airfield routine operations.

Statistics show a reduction of 80% in FOD cases when using our patented technology. As a result, the safety level and operational availability significantly increased as well as heavily reducing aircraft maintenance costs.
